Hello! My name is Lara. I’m a video essayist, script reader and writer from the West Midlands. You can find my work on the BFI, Little White Lies, The Skinny and more.

I am an alumni of both Cinema Rediscovered’s 2022 Film Critics Workshop and Edinburgh International Film Festival’s Young Critics Programme 2022. My work has featured in Sight and Sound’s Best Video Essays of 2022 and 2023. I was also recognised as one of Sight and Sound’s Emerging Voices in 2023.
